The types of PPA business models that information is sought for are:
- Two-part Contract for PV and BESS (Solar and BESS contracted separately)
- Fully Dispatchable PPA (solar and storage fully dispatchable by buyer)
- Blended PPA (single rate PPA with solar and storage in the rate)
- Time-Variant PPA (time of use rate PPA)
- 24×7 PPA (rates for 24×7 firm power PPA’s of solar and storage)
Of particular interest are actual projects with hybrid PPAs and in the context of replacing diesel systems or for hybrid operations with diesel systems. However, information for hybrid projects and hybrid project PPAs in any country or fuel mix of grid is of interest.
The useful types of information for hybrid projects and hybrid project PPAs are:
- hybrid project descriptions and grid services provided
- template or executed hybrid project PPA’s
- buyer, seller, government, regulator, or rate payer risk analysis of hybrid project PPA’s
- stakeholder viewpoints of hybrid project PPA’s
