Acelerex has been retained to assist Barbados for collecting lessons learned from regulators, utilities, market operators, and organizations with experience in VPP and V2G initiatives.

Areas of interest include:

• Customer and aggregator compensation mechanisms
• Tariff design and revenue allocation approaches
• Performance-based incentives and penalties
• Regulatory frameworks supporting scalability and interoperability
• Grid code requirements, interconnection standards, and data-sharing protocols

Acelerex has initiated outreach to organizations with experience in distributed energy resource aggregation and flexible grid operations to help inform the design of Barbados' program.
