An interesting innovation that Acelerex contributed to: if wind energy sells bi-laterals to the VPP operators, then the ELCC of that wind power paired with VPP is higher because the power is prepositioned at 1000’s of points in the grid. Also VPP’s offer resiliency positive kicker so the wind power trades with VPP’s are valuable at decarbonizing high numbers of nodes.
